First launched in 1989, Amarula is made from the fruit of the marula tree, blended with cream and spirit to create a distinctive style within the cream liqueur category. The production process involves fermenting and distilling marula fruit, ageing the spirit in oak, and then blending it with fresh cream to achieve its signature texture and flavour.
