Cava

Cava is a popular style of Spanish sparkling wine, produced most commonly from Macabeu, Parellada and Xarello grapes, and made in the Traditional Method used by the Champagne houses of France. Under Spanish law, Cava may only be produced in Catalonia with almost all producers located in the Penedès area. Cava is an important part of many Spanish traditions and has in recent years enjoyed much success around the world as an alternative to Champagne.
