Description

Description:

ArmAs Voskehat from Armenia's esteemed Aragatsotn region showcases the ancient winemaking heritage of one of the world's most historic viticultural landscapes. Grown on the slopes of Mount Ararat, these vineyards are positioned at impressive elevations, ranging from 700 to 1,900 metres above sea level. The unique terroir, comprising over 30 layers of volcanic, limestone, and clay soils, is nourished by 300 days of sunshine each year and refreshed by the cool mountain nights. Crafted from the indigenous Voskehat grape-often called \"The Golden Seed\"-this wine is carefully produced using traditional methods and state-of-the-art techniques to highlight purity, complexity, and elegance. Handles by the renowned winemaker Emilio del Medico, ArmAs Voskehat undergoes meticulous manual harvesting and careful fermentation at low temperatures with selected yeasts in stainless steel. Eight months of maturation on the lees, with regular batonnage, impart refined texture and complexity, resulting in a white wine that masterfully balances Armenia's rich past with a vibrant, modern profile.
