This is a first edition of the Arran 21 year-old. A limited edition release of 9,000 bottles worldwide. It's a rich and complex expression, containing of some of the oldest whisky's in the Arran Malt warehouses. It has a warm gold colour and copper reflections. The nose reveals dark chocolate, sweet spice and delicious sweet sherry notes. On the palate there is sweetness, spice, bitter orange, citrus and dark chocolate. It has a satisfying finesse and elegance. A gem of a whisky. The 21 Year Old is now part of the core range from Arran Malt. |
