Description

Description:

Avion Anejo Tequila is an aged tequila that focuses on extended maturation while maintaining a clear connection to its agave base. Produced by Avion Tequila in Jalisco, it is made from 100% blue Weber agave grown in the highlands, where the soil and climate influence the character of the raw material. After slow roasting and distillation, the tequila is aged in oak barrels for a period that places it within the anejo category, allowing it to develop additional structure over time.

The production is built around a balance between traditional methods and a more modern, quality-driven approach, with attention given to agave selection and controlled ageing. Within the Avion range, the anejo sits above the blanco and reposado expressions, representing a more developed stage of maturation. The aim is to introduce oak influence without losing the identity of the agave, positioning it as a refined, sipping-focused tequila rather than one designed primarily for mixing.
