Avion Reposado Tequila is an aged expression that represents the middle stage of the brand’s range, focusing on how a short period in oak can shape the character of the spirit without overshadowing its agave base. Produced by Avion Tequila in the highlands of Jalisco, it is made from 100% blue Weber agave that is slow-roasted and distilled using traditional methods before being rested in oak barrels for several months.
The reposado category is intended to bridge the gap between unaged blanco and longer-aged anejo tequilas, and this expression follows that approach by introducing a measured level of wood influence while retaining clarity from the agave. Within the Avion lineup, it is positioned as a versatile option, suitable for both sipping and mixing, with production centred on maintaining consistency and balance rather than heavy cask impact or experimental finishes.
