Description

Description:

Occultum Lapidem Blanc is a striking white wine from the highly regarded AOP Cotes-du-Roussillon, crafted with a blend of Grenache Blanc and Grenache Gris. Sourced primarily from the gneiss soils in the Latour de France area, this wine is a testament to thoughtful viticulture and meticulous winemaking. Utilising a combination of stainless steel vats and 600-litre "demi-muids" barrels for fermentation, and without undergoing malolactic fermentation, the wine showcases a perfect harmony between freshness and texture. Powerful yet refined, Occultum Lapidem Blanc captures the rich minerality and expressive fruit character of its terroir, promising a rewarding experience for any wine enthusiast.

Tasting Notes
Appearance:
This wine presents a bright, clear appearance with a pale golden hue, reflecting both its youth and vibrancy in the glass.

The interplay between the freshness and the pleasing weight, characteristic of White Grenache, results in a textural harmony that delights the senses. The flavour profile mirrors the aromatic promise, with stone fruit taking centre stage, supported by gentle floral touches and an underlying hint of nuttiness from the time spent in barrel.
