Bulmers

Bulmers Cider was created in 1887 by Henry Percival "Percy" Bulmer, using apples from his family's orchard in Hereford. He built the business on his mother's encouragement to make a career in food or drink 'because neither ever go out of fashion'. Percy built his first cider mill with his brother Fred in a field outside the city using a loan from their father.

Today, the company produces close to two thirds of all cider sold in the UK annually, and accounts for a majority of the cider exported from the UK.
