Description

Description:

Ca' Rugate 'Punta 470' Amarone della Valpolicella is a masterfully crafted wine from the renowned hills of Montecchia di Crosara, Veneto, Italy. Born from a family estate with over a century of tradition, this Amarone is the result of meticulous vineyard management and innovative winemaking led by the passionate Tessari family. The vineyard, perched at an impressive 470 metres above sea level, benefits from gravel and limestone soils that offer superb drainage and help maintain the grapes' natural acidity, ensuring elegance alongside intensity. Grapes are hand-picked and allowed to dry gently, concentrating flavour and sweetness before fermentation, then matured for over two years in oak. Frequently awarded and widely celebrated, Ca' Rugate is recognised as one of the leading high-end producers of Amarone and Soave, making this wine a standout choice for fine dining and special occasions.
