Description

Description:

Campo alle Comete Toscana Cabernet Sauvignon is a captivating red wine that showcases the elegance and expressive character of Tuscan winemaking. Produced at a 26-hectare estate nestled at the foot of Castagneto Carducci in Bolgheri and just a short distance from the Tyrrhenian Sea, this wine is deeply rooted in the region's ancient landscape and history. The proximity to the Mediterranean imparts gentle breezes that contribute to the wine's perfectly balanced acidity and rich, sundrenched fruit. With vineyards cultivated following organic principles and careful, hands-on winemaking, Campo alle Comete delivers wines that are both imaginative and meticulously crafted. Winemaker Lucia Minoggio and her team select only the best Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, which are hand-harvested and vinified with utmost care. Traditional methods, such as gentle destemming and fermentation in concrete or stainless steel, ensure varietal purity and freshness. The wine is further softened through malolactic fermentation in French oak and matures in second-passage oak barriques for six months, resulting in a truly harmonious and inviting bottle.
