Description

Description:

Carpineto Poggio Sant' Enrico Vino Nobile di Montepulciano stands as a testament to the excellence and dedication of one of Tuscany's most renowned producers. Crafted exclusively from 100% Sangiovese grapes, this wine originates from the meticulously tended Poggio di Sant'Enrico Piccolo and Grande single vineyards, nestled on southern-facing hillsides at elevations of 300 to 350 metres. The richly diverse soils, consisting of sandy clay and limestone, combined with sustainable vineyard practices, result in grapes of remarkable quality and character. The wine is carefully vinified using indigenous wild yeasts and aged in a thoughtful combination of French and American oak barrels, followed by extensive bottle maturation in cool, underground cellars. The result is a wine that beautifully captures the typicity and elegance of its Montepulciano terroir.
