Chateau Grand Puy

Chateau Grand-Puy Ducasse was purchased by Arnaud Ducasse in the middle of the 17th century in the Bordeaux region of France. It was a century later though, when Pierre Ducasse would begin winemaking on the estate, acquiring land such that by the time his son inherited the estate it spanned 60 hectares, two-thirds of which we converted to vineyard.

A new group took over the winery in 1971 after it had fallen largely dormant, restructuring and enlarging the facilities, as well as working to improve the quality of the wine production. The chateau produces 100,000 to 120,000 bottle of wine every year.
