Cinzano

Cinzano was born in 1757 when two brothers, Giovanni Giacomo and Carlo Stefano Cinzano received their diplomas as Master Distillers and subsequently opened a small shop in Turin, Italy. From their shop, the two brothers started a new trend with their unique aromatic wines as well as "vermouth rosso" (red vermouth) using aromatic plants from the Italian Alps in a secret recipe combining 35 ingredients. What became known as the "vermouth of Turin" proved popular with the bourgeoisie of Turin and, later, Casanova.

Cinzano has become known over the years for its vibrant and captivating marketing campaigns and can look back on an uninterrupted 250-year history with unique freshness and vitality that has distinguished Cinzano throughout its long and colourful history.
