Cote-Rotie Quatuor is an exceptional 100% Syrah crafted from a meticulous blend of four distinguished vineyard plots in the renowned AOP Cote-Rotie appellation. Each plot contributes a unique element to the wine's character: Cote Brune imparts structure and power with its fractured mica-schist soils; Cote Blonde adds elegance and floral nuances from its gneiss-rich terrain; Neve delivers tension and minerality through stony mica-schist; and Tupins brings a depth of spice and dark fruit from migmatite and sandy loam soils. The wine is vinified with careful attention to detail, using native yeasts and aged in a judicious balance of 228-litre and 600-litre French oak barrels, a proportion of which are new, ensuring a harmonious integration of oak and fruit. The result is a wine that showcases the complexity, depth, and finesse that are the hallmarks of great Cote-Rotie.
