Dingle Batch No.6 Single Malt Irish Whiskey is part of the distillery’s early core releases, marking a key stage in the development of one of Ireland’s newer independent distilleries. Produced at Dingle Distillery, it is made using 100% malted barley and triple distilled in small copper pot stills. The whiskey is matured in a combination of bourbon, sherry, and port casks, with each type contributing to the overall structure of the final blend. This batch-led approach reflects Dingle’s focus on small-scale production and incremental releases, with each batch offering slight variations depending on cask selection. Batch No.6 represents a continuation of this method, maintaining the distillery’s house style while refining consistency across releases. The production remains fully in-house, from distillation through to maturation, with an emphasis on traditional techniques and a relatively hands-on process compared to larger operations.
