From the historic vineyards of Tokaj, this wine is produced by Disznoko, an estate renowned for its focus on single-site expression and precision winemaking. The 6 Puttonyos designation represents one of the highest traditional sweetness levels in Tokaji, indicating a significant proportion of botrytised grapes, primarily Furmint with supporting varieties such as Harslevelu. These grapes are affected by noble rot, concentrating sugars and flavours while preserving the acidity that defines the region’s balance.
The production process involves incorporating the botrytised berries into a base wine, allowing extraction before a slow fermentation begins. Maturation follows in oak casks, where the wine develops depth and integration over time without losing its natural vibrancy. Positioned firmly in the premium category, it delivers a highly concentrated and structured style, combining richness with clarity and a strong sense of origin.
