Description

Description:

Glenfiddich Fire & Cane is part of the distillery's Experimental Series, created to explore less conventional maturation techniques and flavour combinations. Produced at Glenfiddich Distillery, this expression combines peated malt whisky with unpeated spirit that has been finished in Latin rum casks. The aim is to bring together two contrasting elements - smoke and sweetness - within a single release, something not typically associated with Glenfiddich's core range. This whisky reflects a more exploratory side of the distillery, stepping outside its usual fruit-forward Speyside profile. The use of rum casks introduces a different dimension to the maturation process, while the inclusion of peated spirit adds an additional layer that is rarely seen in Glenfiddich bottlings. As part of the Experimental Series, it is designed to offer a different perspective on the distillery's capabilities, focusing on innovation while still maintaining a clear connection to its house style.
