Isle of Jura Seven Wood gets its name from seven different oaks it's crafted in, that help to achieve its multi-layer flavour profile. It's a whisky that's shaped by first-fill ex-bourbon American White Oak, Vosges, Bertranges, Jupilles, Allier, Troncais & Limousin barrels. Mahogany gold in colour. The nose offers aromatic mix of coffee, ginger and a hint of milk chocolate. On the palate, there's caramelised peach, chewy liquorice and candied orange notes with hints of sea-spray and a wiff of smoke. |
