Description

Description:

The luxurious bottle of Johnnie Walker Blue Label Limited Edition Design has been created in honour of the Chinese New Year and the Year of the Tiger. Paying homage to the tiger is a symbol of strength and progress. The artwork has been designed by Chinese artist Shan Jiang. The design features a majestic tiger with golden wings as an expression of added vigour and vitality. Amongst the high mountain clouds, the tiger ascends towards the modern metropolis. A sign of prosperity and progress for a year of good fortune ahead.

Taste:
This exquisite blend of some of the rarest and most exceptional whiskies exhibits flavours of dried fruits and citrus. These evolve into notes of honey, sweet spice, vanilla, oranges and hints of dark chocolate and ginger, followed by a warm, lingering smoky finish. Drink it with water, ice or try sipping it neat, with a chaser of ice water to open up the flavours.

Production:
Hand-crafted  in small batches by a team of expert whisky makers led by Jim Beveridge. Jim is the sixth in the unbroken line of Master Blenders stretching back 200 year, to the time of the founder, John Walker.

History:
Johnnie Walker Blue Label was created to commemorate the Old Highland Whisky blend, which was originally created by John Walker's son, Alexander, back in 1867. Only one in 10,000 casks in the distillery's reserves of over 10 million maturing Scotch whiskies makes the cut to become Johnnie Walker Blue Label. Included in blend are hidden gems from irreplaceable casks from the long-forgotten 'ghost' distilleries.
