The wine is named after Jose Zuccardi and represents a more refined, high-altitude style of Malbec. It's sourced from key sites like Paraje Altamira and Gualtallary, where altitude and limestone-rich soils bring freshness and structure alongside ripeness. What stands out is the balance between power and control. There's plenty of dark fruit, but it doesn't feel heavy - everything sits within a firm, well-defined structure. The use of concrete fermentation and large oak foudres keeps the oak subtle, focusing more on texture and integration rather than overt flavour.
