Laurent-Perrier Brut Millesime 2018 reflects the Housees selective approach to vintage Champagne, with Laurent-Perrier declaring a vintage only in years it considers capable of producing an exceptional wine. The 2018 growing season developed beautifully, with a warm, sunny summer providing ideal ripening conditions before harvesting began at the end of August in stable weather. The resulting grapes showed exceptional quality and generosity, laying the foundations for a harmonious vintage.
The blend brings together 52% Chardonnay from the Cote des Blancs and 48% Pinot Noir from the Montagne de Reims, sourced from renowned crus including Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, Avize, Cramant, Chouilly, Verzy and Ambonnay. Seven years of ageing adds depth and maturity while retaining the freshness and precision at the heart of the wine.
