Description

Description:

This is built with a completely different intention to most Champagne, as it is designed to be served over ice, which changes how the wine needs to behave. Instead of relying on precision or tight structure, it is made to stay expressive and balanced even when diluted and heavily chilled. The blend still includes Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier, but the emphasis shifts toward fruit intensity and roundness, so that the wine does not lose its character when ice is added. As a result, the profile feels broader and more open from the start. On the nose and palate, ripe fruit comes through immediately, with mango, pineapple, and peach alongside softer citrus. This gives the wine a more tropical and generous feel compared to the fresher, more restrained styles in the range.

As it sits in the glass, especially over ice, the flavours remain stable rather than fading, with a light note of caramelised fruit and a subtle pastry edge adding a bit of depth without changing the overall direction. The structure is intentionally softened, allowing the wine to feel smooth and easy rather than sharp. This makes it more adaptable to different serving styles, including the addition of garnishes like mint, berries, or citrus. Texture is rounded and flowing, with bubbles that feel softer due to the serving style, creating a more relaxed and refreshing experience rather than a tightly defined one. Overall, this is about versatility and immediate enjoyment, where the wine is designed to perform in a less formal setting, delivering fruit, smoothness, and consistency even when served in a non traditional way.
