Description

Description:

Produced in Jalisco, Mexico, this tequila is made from blue agave but, unlike premium expressions, it is a mixto, meaning it contains a blend of agave and other fermentable sugars. The agave is cooked in traditional brick ovens and partially processed using the tahona method, where a volcanic stone wheel crushes the fibres, extracting juice that contributes some depth to the final spirit. Distillation typically takes place in column stills, producing a lighter and cleaner base spirit. As a blanco (or silver) tequila, it is bottled without aging, preserving a fresh and direct character. Compared to 100 percent agave tequilas, the profile is simpler and more straightforward, with less emphasis on terroir and more on consistency and mixability.

The style is designed for versatility, particularly in high-energy or casual drinking contexts. Its relatively mild structure allows it to integrate easily with citrus, soda, and other mixers, making it a common choice for cocktails where a clean but not overly complex tequila base is needed.
