Description

Description:

Principe de los Apostoles Mate is made in the Province of Mendoza, Argentina. Most of the botanicals used to make the gin are sourced from Misiones, Argentina. The principle ingredient in Principe de los Apostoles is yerba mate. It's known to have been planted by Jesuits in the Provence of Misiones in South America and has gone on to become part of the country’s most popular beverage. Other botanicals used in production include juniper, peppermint, eucalyptus and pink grapefruit skin. The six botanicals are macerated one by one in wheat-based alcohol. After maceration they are blended together and distilled in 200-litre batches, in a copper pot still. The heart of the distillation is brought down to 40.5% ABV using pure water sourced from the Andes. The result is a unique gin with nuanced tropical and herbal notes.

To create the Apostoles signature serve, add a dash of Cynar, tonic water and a sprig of eucalyptus to garnish.
