Description

Description:

Discover the charm of Santo Isidro de Pegoes 'Sobreiro de Pegoes' Colheita Tinto, a beautifully crafted blend from the renowned Setubal Peninsula in Portugal. This wine is the product of a progressive cooperative founded in 1958, now recognised as one of Portugal's most forward-thinking producers. Grown in the unique, mineral-rich sandy soils of the Pegoes vineyard, between the Tagus and Sado rivers, the indigenous grape varieties benefit from a Mediterranean climate and refreshing Atlantic breezes. The expert winemaking team, led by the acclaimed Jaime Quendera, has harnessed these natural advantages to create a red wine that is both expressive and true to its terroir. With careful temperature-controlled fermentation and extended maceration, this wine delivers exceptional purity of fruit, depth, and softness without the masking influence of oak, resulting in a style that speaks of both tradition and modern finesse.
