Shepherd Neame

Founded in 1698, Shepherd Neame proudly claims to be Britain's oldest brewer, though there is evidence to suggest brewing has taken place on the site since 1573. The Shepherd family ran the brewery through much of the brewery's early years, with control of the business being handed to the Neame family in 1864 who carried on the strong legacy of expansion set by the Shepherds.

Today, the brewery is well known for its range of Kentish Ales as well as owning over 300 pubs and hotels across the South of England.
