Deep crimson red in colour, the Stonehaven Limestone Coast Shiraz displays ripe spicy plum, blackberry, cocoa and cinnamon aromas. A rich and fleshy palate is characterised by plum and berry fruit flavour. An attractive velvety texture and spicy complexity enhance this exceptional wine.
Winemaker's Notes - Fruit for this wine was sourced mainly from the premium grape growing areas of Padthaway and Coonawarra. After the fruit was carefully crushed and fermented in stainless steel rotary and static fermenters the wine was transferred to American oak barriques for secondary fermentation and maturation for 12 months. This wine is drinking well now, and will also improve with careful cellaring for up to 10 years.
