Drambuie is a legendary Scottish whisky liqueur with roots that trace back to the 18th century and the romantic lore of Prince Charles Edward Stuart (Bonnie Prince Charlie). According to tradition, the recipe was gifted to the MacKinnon clan after the Battle of Culloden in 1746 and later refined into the spirit we know today. Its name derives from the Scottish Gaelic phrase "An Dram Buidheach", meaning "the drink that satisfies".
