Janneau

Armagnac is the oldest of the French brandies, and likely one of the oldest spirits in the world, with evidence of distilleries from the 14th century. Maison Janneau is the oldest of the great Armagnac houses, founded in 1851, and undisputedly the leader in the UK.

The regulations defining Armagnac allow production using either continuous distillation or double distillation in pot stills. Janneau produces brandy using both methods, then blends them together to produce an Armagnac with unique characteristics not found in any other.
