Description

Description:

Uncle Nearest 1884 Small Batch Whiskey is a Tennessee whiskey that continues the legacy of Nathan 'Nearest' Green, honouring his role in shaping the Lincoln County Process. Produced by Uncle Nearest Premium Whiskey, this expression is named after the year Nearest Green was recognised as the first master distiller for Jack Daniel’s. Like other releases in the range, it undergoes charcoal mellowing before ageing, a method that contributes to a smoother and more refined spirit.

This small batch release is built from a selection of barrels chosen for balance and consistency rather than intensity alone. It is positioned as a slightly lighter and more approachable counterpart to the 1856 expression, with an emphasis on smoothness and drinkability. The production approach focuses on blending craftsmanship with historical recognition, maintaining traditional techniques while presenting a modern, premium Tennessee whiskey that appeals to a wide audience.
